ConSuMate specializes in advising companies on the use of Consumer Service as a strategic marketing tool. ConSuMate focuses on helping companies to operate in a more customer-friendly way and to use consumer feedback routinely in a continuous quality improvement process.

History
ConSuMate was founded in 1992 by Alexander van de Sande Bakhuyzen. In his five years in various marketing positions at Unilever, Alexander observed how companies, especially in the FMCG sector, would often fail to use consumer responses to the full as input for their quality and marketing policy. His observations prompted him to set up ConSuMate, a specialized consultancy for advising businesses of all sizes in this niche area.

ConSuMate as an important player in the market
ConSuMate has since established a sound reputation in the market, and the consumer responses of more than 25% of the A brands listed in the 2009 Top 100 published in Foodmagazine are processed with our system, ConSuLink. Among these users are five of the largest brands in the Top 10 - Campina, Douwe Egberts, Heineken, Friesche Flag and Dr. Oetker.
